I think they were all tired from Iowa and if you watched them, whenever another one spoke they all looked like they were snarling at the one talking...or sneering.
They were all trying to look positive by joking around and patting the other ones on the back...a little bit. It was just all an act. I don't think Edwards is trying to be Obama's second. He could easily still be President himself.
Obama is an inexperienced unknown. It is easy to support someone who has not done much to rail against. They say he has never had a real job. He went right into politics. So how can he understand the people of this country who every day go to work at REAL jobs???
They say his mother was an atheist and his father a muslim. When pressed about religious beliefs he made a show of going to a generic christian church. His middle name is Hussein. That is scary right there. We just went to war with a man with that name.
Who knows where he stands on anything? He is way too young and inexperienced to be President. Just because Oprah backs someone up, is no reason to vote for them. Oprah couldn't even run a school in Africa right. People just like Oprah because she gives out gifts on her show, like cars. That is no reason to vote someone as President , because a TV show host likes them.
A lot of republican voters are leaning democratic with the Bush fiascos/wars. If you want them to vote Republican next election, just have Obama running against them. They will take his inexperience and record and eat him for breakfast. And the republicans will be back to republican land again. I know I will if that happens. And I would like to see national healthcare, but it doesn't look as though it will happen with ANY of them now. It is too dangerous and treacherous a world to have a young, inexperienced , unknown for a president.
Here is some info from a question about Obama on YA and another link where he refused at a public function to put his hand over his heart in the Pledge of Allegiance (which he will be required to do if sworn in as President).
