What I can recommend you is: FLV Video Player is a video player with powerful and easy-to-use flash that makes viewing FLV and H.264 files fun and simple. With an intuitive and simple interface, FLV Player lets you open all supported video formats with the Flash platform and played on a slippery and comfortable window or in full screen mode. It is extremely fast, intuitive, and works with videos from all your favorite sites.
Main features of FLV Player are:
Incredibly easy to use interface.
Just select the file and click game
Zoom to full screen mode
Play internet movies on your desktop
Easy to use
Best runs in the cloud and takes few resources of your PC

EW! I HATE VLC! It fattens up your registry something awful. Riva plays nicely but it's also pretty bad at putting bits of itself everywhere in your registry, and has a very egotistical splash screen at startup.
I prefer something simple like FLV Player

You should download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, you can get it for free here http://bitly.com/1mF35Pe
Adobe Flash Player is often responsible for video issues on pc. For instance I had lots of black screens on youtube. I tried to figure out the reasons myself as people keep saying very different things on the topic. In my opinion the problem is not youtube, it's something in your computer that it's not working properly and must be updated. I am sure that if you update adobe flash player you will be able to fix all your problems and your videos will start working again.

I recommend using VLC media player (it can play anything including flv). Best part is it's free, open source and completely free of spyware. It is also the most popular player out there.
