What could I serve with spaghetti and meatballs?

I need some simple and quick side dishes to serve with spaghetti and meatballs. They need to be able to please picky eaters. Thanx in advance!

The most traditional side dishes are a salad (you can put two different bottles of salad dressing out for those pesky picky eaters) and garlic bread (you can put out Italian bread with a little bowel of garlic butter (butter mashed with garlic powder) and regular butter, depending on their tastes. You can add a bowel of shredded cheese to the table, which they can put either on the pasta or the salad. Wine is good.

Go with the ready-made bagged salad but cut some cucumbers or peppers into it, throw in a can of drained chick peas and some cherry tomatoes, and it will look like you spent an hour working on the greens.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/avcnB

I'll give you some specifics... Gamay Beujolais - this is a very fruity wine that's on the milder side. Louis Jadot (about $12) and George du Boeuf (about $8) make good ones. Pinot Noir is my personal favorite type of red wine. Castle Rock, Firesteed, Guenoc are all really good Pinots for the money. Merlot - Franciscan, Kendall Jackson, Bogle and Blackstone are good merlots Cabernet Sauvignon - I'd give Columbia Crest a whirl - not expensive and a really good wine!
