Chickens do not have teeth, so they are not able to chew thier food. When they swallow stones, the stones go into an organ called the gullet. When food passes through the gullet, it is ground up by the stones, and can then be digested in the stomach.

According to our kidney disease therapy experience, you won't get kidney stone from eating chicken. However, On the one hand if you eat too much steak or lamb chop, or drink too much soda or acidic beverages, you have great risk to get kidney stone. On the other hand, if your own immune system is not very well, you are also easy get this disease. So please keep a good eating diet ! Hope you can have a good sleep now!

Lo i have chicken teeth i will swap for eggs so chickens can eat more seed, less stones.

chicken eat stones as it helps them in digesting their food ..as they don't have teerh...stones perform similar function to our teeth as birds are edentulous(do not hav teeth)

Birds eat stones (grit) to grind up food in their gizzard.

i highly doubt you would. people say you'll get kidney stones from too much protein but your body will find a use for it anyways. i say keep the protein shakes to 2 scoops a day
