Do you look better in a mirror than in a photograph?

Asking this to friends, the majority say that they believe the reflection they see in the mirror looks better than when they see themselves in a photograph.

Do you all find the same thing? Which is the image that other people see; the one you see in the mirror or the one portrayed in photographs?

Completely. For me, I see.."Wow, I'm really pretty" in a mirror, especially at night in my car, cause the light gives me a "fresh tan" look.

But on camera, I look like...well..you get the picture. ;)

Well mirrors and lights inyour house usually do not have much blue in them, so it hides imperfections, a camera has a flash which shows that stuff.

i like seeing myself in a mirror where the lights source is from above. i prefer the orangey lighting too. white lights reveal my skin flaws to much =P. oranget lights make my tanned skin look more smooth

the reflection in the mirror is literally the exact opposite of what people see when they look at you.

Good question - I have to say I very rarely like photos of myself.
