SET-UP FOR SYSTEM CHECK

A.Remove indicator from aircraft instrument panel and disconnect aircraft harness from indicator.

B.Insert appropriate adapter cables between the aircraft harness and the indicarror.

C.Connect the three leads from adapter cable marked UNSH.

D. COAX A and COMP C to receptacles and respedtively .

TANK UNIT CAPACITANCE MEASUREMENT

A.SET DISPLAY SELECT Switch to CAP(pf) position and CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to A/C TEST-UNSH position.

B.Set CAPACITANCE RANGE Switch to lowest range that will give non-blinking rreading.

COMPENSATOR CAPACITANCE MEASUREMENT

A.Set DISPLAY SELECT Switch to CAP(pf) position and CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to A/C TEST-COMP position.

B.Set CAPACITANCE RANGE Switch to lowest range the will give non-blinking reading.

TANK UNIT&COMPENSATOR RESIS TANCE MEASUREMENT

A. Set DISPLAY SELECT Switch to RES(MEG) position.

C.Rotate RESISTANCE FUNCTION Switch throught positions A-B. A-C. A-GND. B-GND. and C-GND.

Stopping at each position to set RESISTANCE RANGE Switch to the lowest range that will give non-blinking reading.

INDICATOR CALIBRATION-EMPTY TANK CONDITION.

A.Set DISPLAY SELECT Switch to CAP(pf) position and CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to INDICATOR TEST-A/C position.

B.Adjust EMPTY control at the rear of the indicator to obtain an empty indication.

C.Set CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to position SIM SET-COMP. Using the applicable aircraft technical manual.set comp SIMULATOR to a value equal to the aircraft wet value minus the aircraft dry value.

D.Set CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to position SIM SET-PROBE to position SIM SET-PROBE. Using the applioable aircraft technical technical manual. Set the PROBE SIMULATORS and to a value equal to the aircraft full value minus the aircraft dry value.

E.Set CAPACITANCE FUNCTION Switch to position IND TEST-A/C+PROBE SIM+COMP SIM position.

F.Adijust the FULL control at the rear of the indicator to obtain the full indicator.
