How do I make my mouse single click rather than double click?

i want to make the left button single click

    You're talking about Windows XP?

    I think what you want is to go to Folder Options (available from any file-system navigator window).

    On the 'General' tab in there, you can select to:

    "Single-click to open an item (point to select)"


    "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)

    Personally, I hate the single-click option, but there you go.
