Sears Craftsman tools are top quality, also seek out Stanley, Bosch, or Dremel... If you are lookn for drills, Ryobi, Makita have several types,

As a professional mechanic I say go to Sears and get some Craftsmen tools.

get him the tools that were on the commercial. go to autozone and find them, or ask a sales rep.
