Emo / Punk / Acoustic love songs?

Im making my girlfriend a mix for christmas of all the songs that remind me of her. I have almost finished and perfected it, but i know something is missing...

Im looking for actual love songs and not just the sad depressing stuff. I want it to be the best present she has ever gotten!

Help please, ive been working on this mix since april!!!

Jim Croce has plenty of acoustic love songs, but he's from the 70's, and I'm not sure what decade you are looking for.

city and colour are amazing, it's a definant add if you don't have it already.

check out happiness by the kilowatt, forgive me, sometimes, coming home. all are really soothing, but not cheesy love songs.
