Poll, Why cant Chickens Fly?

They can Jo but not very high or for very long! We used to keep chickens when I was a child and they roamed free but it was up to Mum and us kids to get them in the chicken coops at night so the foxes didn't get them. They flew everywhere especially when we were just about to catch them!!

Chickens can fly yet basically very low and for extremely short distances ........ maximum farm raised chickens get one among their wings clipped so as that they might't fly very a techniques and flee very a techniques from their pen or coup ...... this is sweet because of the fact hen is scrumptious ....... = )

because they are chickens and chickens are afraid of fly but they do fly a little bit

who says they can't? i have chickens next door and they fly all the time. not far but they fly.

because they are too loaded down with chemicals. this or they are too chicken to fly

actually they can, they just don't fly high or long enough.

they can just not for long there body's are tooooo heavy for there wings
