John lives a rather quiet life out of the spotlight these days.
I think I've occasionally seen him do "cameos" in some television shows, but rarely.
Now Ponch (Erik Estrada) has pretty much resurrected his career.
About last year he was on the Surreal Life and was pretty much the Alpha male of the group. The one everyone else came to for advice and support.
He seems pretty well grounded and can laugh about his "CHiP's" days.
He also was on some short lived show on CBS about celebrity cops.
They were deputized and had arrest powers.
Amazingly it was like he did it all his life. He really had a way of relating to different personalities.
Wish there were more cops like him.
Back in the 80's and/or 90's he played a part in a Mexican Soap Opera.Source(s): here is his Wiki profile http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Estrada
