What is JPmorgan Chase?
Are they half brokerage and half bank. Making money off loans and investments?

Yes they are some of both. They are classified as a bank. As far as investments go, I do not believe investments contributed greatly to their income. Investment banking makes up about 17% of their income. Retail financial sevices the greatest portion, about 25%. Credit cards about 23%.

Good, I hope that entire cabal of criminals lose everything. You should also look up Jon Corzine, former head of the Goldman Sachs gang, he had billions of dollars "disappear" and didn't know what happened to it. The sad thing is though, is that they're gambling with other peoples' money and when they lose the tax payer pays for it through bailing them out. The merger of state and corporate power is fascism. That is sick and disgusting. If there were 100% reserves and no fractional reserve banking stuff like this would not happen nearly as much and the people would not suffer.

JP Morgan merged with Chase. Chase bought BankOne. It's a financial services firm. They offer just about everything....I don't recommend them...I've known lots of people who banked with them that had mistakes in the bank's favor in their accounts.
