Circumcised vs. uncircumcised?
What's your opinion on circumcision?

Barbaric if done to a baby without his consent. Adults can make up their own mind.
Contrary to popular belief it is not "cleaner", has nothing to do with premature ejaculation, and doesn't prevent HIV.
You don't need to wash under the foreskin in infants, it's attached to the head. Just wipe the outside. Much easier than taking care of a surgical wound (especially one stuffed in a nappy with faeces and urine). When a foreskin retracts, the teen will be old enough to clean it himself. Do you know any teenage boys who don't touch their d*cks in the shower? lol
It very rarely needs to be done for medical reasons, but if an adult chooses they will at least give consent (unlike an infant), get proper anaesthetic and after-pain-relief (unlike an infant), the doctor can see how much to cut (unlike in an infant) and the glans has detached from the foreskin (unlike in an infant) so it doesn't need to be forcibly pulled off before it's cut away.
PS Ignore the poster "ponysteel" down below - he has a fetish for circumcision. Check out his profile http://profiles.yahoo.com/ponysteel where he posts about his group "sexy to be circumcised" with pictures of his mutilated willy.
OK just because the guy got it done because of his premature ejaculation doesn't mean it's linked to that. He has the problem and chose to deal with it by trying to get cut to lose some sensation. No reason to do it to babies.

Most often premature ejaculation occurs in younger men, but it can affect men of all ages. There could be a number of different reasons for the problems, both physical and psychological. The good news is that there are certain solutions available that have proven effective, such as the Ejaculation Trainer (see site here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565), which can show a man how to develop permanent ejaculation control. By successfully addressing a man’s ejaculation concerns and teaching him how to control it, he will quickly become more confident and both he and his partner will be much more satisfied.

I personally have only dated uncut men with tight to very loose foreskin. I am only turned on by a guy with foreskin. I find a circumcised guy to be a turn off. The look of the operated penis to me is very repulsive, really. I have only had boyfriends with foreskin. For me a circumcised penis is a deal breaker!

Liz, and i wonder what is your opinion? (and the reason for asking?).
It is a very personal, irreversible decision for a man to take - and perhaps one to be discussed and taken with a partner if in a long term committed relationship. Opinions are strong and vary considerably. Some women seem to abhor an uncut penis and feel it is not as clean (often in the US)- others say they prefer the more natural (europe). May be it is the cultural norm that presides.

Premature ejaculation is caused by specific things that you do before and during sex. Most of the time without even realizing it. Read here https://tr.im/6tE45
Premature ejaculation is not some gene you're born with, the result of your penis size or a part of your personality that you can never change.

It doesn't even appear to cut down the risk of HIV Either:
WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Circumcision may reduce a man's risk of infection with the AIDS virus by up to 60 percent if he is an African, but it does not appear to help American men of color, U.S. researchers reported on Monday.
Black and Latino men were just as likely to become infected with the AIDS virus whether they were circumcised or not, Greg Millett of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found.
If you really want a little more truth on circumcision, I would recommend reading the the NHS (UK Health Care) website about it. They take the proper attitude and treat only those who need treated, as most men there are uncut.

My opinion on circumcision is that it is a barbaric practice that is so very unnecessary. People are so naive and unintelligent to think that cleaning the foreskin is such a huge time consumption, and by the way they speak , it makes it seem like it takes hours on end to clean. In reality, it a simple process, you just pull the skin back, wipe the grime off under water, and PRESTO! you are done. As simple as that, nothing that requires so much effort. In fact, it's probably faster to clean your penis than it is to wash your hair, brush your teeth, and shave your face. Why don't we rip out the teeth or shave heads since it takes so long to keep them clean? People also lose sensitivity when they get circumcised, so that's less pleasure during sex, and I know I want it to be as exciting as possible. As for premature ejaculation, well foreplay is key there. If you're boyfriends actually engaged in foreplay instead of plunging straight in, there wouldn't be a problem. Premature ejaculation is not due to the foreskin at all actually, it's a combination of nervousness and a new experience. Circumcision has been abandoned by the rest of the world, save for the countries who's major religion requires it, due to it being a useless procedure that strips the rights of babies and young children who aren't yet of age to determine if it's what they want. I know I want it to be stopped here in USA, the civilized country so set it in it's stubborn old fashioned ways that no longer have merit.Source(s): By the way Chelsea, your boyfriend who had the operation was lying. It should have had sensitivity like a normal circumcised penis if he had the operation done 2 years ago.

You've just opened the floodgates on what appears to be the most controversial topic discussed on Y!A.
As you can see, people have strong opinions one way or the other. Guys who are circumsized will claim it to be the best thing in the world. Guys who aren't circumsized will say the exact same thing in favor for their natural looking foreskin.
Its a personal preference, and since you asked my opinion, my personal preference is that uncircumsized is better. For a whole range of reasons, but mainly because its the way God made me and since I've never had any medical problems down there why would I chop off a fully-functioning and naturally-protective part of my genitals!?

It's a horrible thing to do anybody. I will never forgive the medical profession for doing it to me, especially as they now admit it is totally unnecessary. The risks far outweigh the very dubious so-called benefits. All the claimed benefits are slowly being disproved and the loss of sensation is gaining more evidence. Circumcision removes 15 square inches of sensitive skin in an adult; skin with a special gliding action that helps with masturbation and sex. A recent study proved that the most sensitive areas of the penis are removed by circumcision. I was mutilated without my consent.
