I'm trying to figure out the episode order of Neon Genesis Evangelion!?

Question

I know that End of Evangelion is an Alternate Ending and that the final two episodes of the anime "take place in Shinji's mind" but what is the canon ending to it? I'm confused on the whole Death & Rebirth thing

Death & Rebirth is just a retelling(though very condensed) of the series and the first part of the new ending(End of EVA).
