Yes. People have been forced to drink urine whenever they're faced with dying of thirst. Many terrible things occurred during the Holocaust, including death by starvation and lack of drinking water.
To the responder below: Anne Frank was not saved to write about her experiences. She & her family were hidden from the Nazis for a time, but were ultimately captured and murdered. Her writings came from the diary she penned while in hiding before her capture, as the diary was not taken by the Nazis. Also, many people who survived the death camps have been able to write about their experiences, not just two or so.

Yes they had too, It was necessary for them to survive. Urine is sterile and is safe to drink in small amounts, Though 5% of urine contains toxins your body filters out. on many occasions people drink pee to survive. You should watch Man vs Wild.

I wouldn't doubt it, do you have any idea how terribly treated they were?
The few that were saved were scarred for life mentally (and physically), and only two or so could actually write about the experience, Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel.
