Stewart, He at least understands the reality of the situation. While McCain actually thinks the surge is working and that we need to stay in Iraq. There's absolutly no reason for us to be there and there never was.....

I'd have to go with John McCain.

McCain has been there

McCain can relate to the military

McCain always has the political issues in front of him

In my opinion, you have not provided enough information for me to make an informative decision on who knows more.

McCain was in the Navy, his father was an Admiral, and he was a POW, but I am not sure how that makes him an expert on Iraq.

Stewart, I don't know if he was ever in the military.
