i need help. i want to find outmore about this hair-straightener. Does anyone know a website where i can find it in South Africa? i just need the pricing and info.. thanks alot. Merry Christmas

If you have really thick coarse hair, you might want to update to a GHD which I hear is better for thicker, curlier hair. I have a Chi and it works great for me but I also have thick wavy hair and it starts to gradually wave again after a certain amount of hours, especially if it's rainy or very humid. My friend has really curly hair and she bought the Chi and we used both of our Chis to straighten her hair and it took like 1 1/2 hours to straighten her whole head and it was a complete mess when we were done. Like it was straight, but a huge bush haha. Then a couple hours after it got curly again because of the humidity and this was after a crapload of hair spray and whatnot. I don't know, if you get one, I highly recommend one with a 30 day return policy.

All I can say is they are great straighteners.

In America they cost $120. :]

chi.com....i went there and they have so many varieties of straighteners/hair dryers/curling irons. but i dunno one that you can find in south africa...it can probably ship there though. check it out on the website.
