Best band you recently discovered?

I have to say Muse.

Update:

Radiohead+Nirvana+U2=Muse

I have a wide range when it comes to music, I tend to adopt new musical interest based on my friends and family and what they listen to.

The last bands and artist I recently discovered (over the past few years) that I found really good were...

    [From my brother]

    Incubus

    Nickleback

    Limp Bizkit

    [From my youngest brother]

    Blink 182

    Linkin Park

    Papa Roach

    [Got into myself]

    Avril Lavigne

    Luciano Pavarotti

Pavarotti is actually my most recent discovery. I wasn't very into operatic performances (except for 1 or 2 from Charlotte Church), but I stumbled across some of his performances on YouTube after his death. I've always wanted to get more into the traditional musical arts, but was never very familiar with specific performers. Pavarotti has been a good start for me.

Muse here too (my friend is a Muse fan)

  • A Fine Frenzy. And Bond. But A Fine Frenzy is a new favorite for sure. Their song "Almost Lover" is incredible!

Edit: Ok, I had no idea that the R&S "thumbs-down fairies" would follow me to P&S! They have powers beyond my knowledge, aparently.
