just cut some onions and they seemed to have started to sprout but not fully can i still cook with them?

when i say sprout i mean they was a little green on the inside

    They are fine. As long as there are no signs of rotting.... they're fine for cooking.

    They will be fine, just cut them up and cut any soft bits out. You could use the "sproutings" for garnish, or in the dish. It is potato sprouts you should not eat under any circumstances.

    Yes, but if you wait until the sprout grows a bit, it will be as a green onion, or scallion, put in mashed potatoes, soups, salads. I like it in Chinese egg drop soup.

    You can eat and use the green (spring onion). Avoid the yellow parts. If it looks and smells good, eat it!

    Yws absolutely fine. I often use them when theu are like that and never had any effects and they dont taste any different.

    Its fine, wash them before you use them.

    sure why not.. just make sure to cut away everything and make sure it's not soft in any places.. should be okay(:
