how to solve this Function?

f(x)=x^2-8 and g(x)=16-6

Find (f+g)(x)

    substitute values of f(x) and g(x) in (f+g)(x)...

    so...(f+g)(x) = x^2 - 8 + 16 - 6...

    then arrange the formula...x^2 +16 - 8 - 6...

    simplify...x^2 + 16 - 14

    Looks like you did not type this in right. Let's say it should be

    f(x) = x^2 - 8

    g(x) = 16x - 6

    Then (f + g)(x) = f(x) + g(x) = x^2 + 16x -8 -6

    ans: x^2+16x-14
