Does anyone have a recipe for a "Kahlua Walnut Cake"? Made it once and it was amazing but I lost the recipe.

1 chocolate cake mix (I use Pillsbury Plus)

    1/2 c. vegetable oil

    1 box instant chocolate pudding

    4 eggs

3/4 c. strong instant coffee (made with 2 tsp. coffee with 1 c. water; cool before adding)

3/4 c. creme de cacao or Kahlua or coffee liqueur

    1 c. sifted powdered sugar

    2 tbsp. cooled coffee

4 tbsp. creme de cacao, Kahlua or coffee liqueur

Combine first 6 ingredients and beat for 4 minutes. Grease and flour a tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick which must come out clean. Cool.

Combine the following in a small bowl: 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons cooled coffee, 4 tablespoons creme de cacao, Kahlua or coffee liqueur; mix well.

Use a short skewer to poke holes in top of cake and let this mixture drip in. It is not a glaze. Dust with confectioners' sugar for an attractive finish. Serve with your favorite ice cream. A chocolate lover's delight!

1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. devil's food cake mix

    4 eggs

    1 c. sour cream

1 c. kahlua or coffee liqueur

    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

    3/4 c. vegetable oil

In large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, sour cream, kahlua and vegetable oil. Using electric mixer, beat at low speed to blend, then increase speed and beat 3-5 minutes at fast speed. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack, 30 minutes. Cool completely on rack. Serve with Cool Whip.

    Kahlua Walnut Cake

1½ cup Unsalted butter; room temperature

    2 cup Sugar

    6 Eggs; separated

    3½ cup All purpose flour

    ½ teaspoon Salt

    1⅓ cup Kahlua

    ½ cup Cold strong coffee

    2 cup Walnut pieces

    ½ teaspoon Cream of tartar

    1½ teaspoon Powdered sugar; sifted

1½ teaspoon Instant coffee or espresso powder

Line bottom of greased 10 inch tube pan with circle of parchment or brown paper. Grease paper. In large bowl, cream butter. Beat in sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks. Sift flour with salt, then stir about 1/3 of flour mixture into butter mixture. Combine 1/2 cup Kahlua with coffee. Stir 1/3 cup of Kahlua/coffee mixture into batter. Continue to alternate flour and liquid until used. Stir in nuts. In large bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in cream of tartar, then beat until stiff, but not dry. Carefully fold egg whites into batter. Transfer to prepared pan. Bake at 275 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until top is golden and sides of cake are pulling away from pan. Set on wire cooling rack and drizzle remaining 1/2 cup kahlua over top. Cool 30 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely. Before serving, sift mixture of powdered sugar and espresso/coffee powder on top
