My dear brothers & sisters in Christ do you feel discouraged sometimes by the path your life takes?

Thank God we have been told to follow Christ—not to go ahead of Him. Even in darkness the path is sure. —Mother Teresa

John the Baptist had quite a task. He had to precede Jesus; all we have to do is follow. As Christmas draws near, consider how closely you have been following Jesus. If Christ is the center of your life and the basis of every choice, you’ll find yourself agonizing less and rejoicing that the way has been paved before us.

Stay the path.

Peace Be With You,

Debra

If I could stop being distracted by the sparkly pebbles and butterflies, and little woes that come my way - I may be able to do this.

I will print this and try harder to follow these good words. Thanks.

The true path of every Christian is to follow The teachings of our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

During the Christmas season we remember, the Lord Jesus came into this world as a humble baby, born in a stable.

Many times I have become discouraged. Have also caused myself and my family heartache by poor choices I have made. Through my Christan beliefs, I have overcome many obstacles and now have a good life.

Jesus sees our heartaches and pain. I take comfort in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

He is able to save all who come to Him for salvation and able to meet the needs of those He has saved.

Life on earth is a HARD road. The Lord never promised that we would not have burdens but He promised to bear our burdens. He told us that we would have tribulations. The Holy Spirit penned through the Apostles that we would have trials. Yet through it all, we have the Lord in the midst of our adversity.

    And also with you, Debra

Bl Mother Teresa of Calcutta knew from trusting Christ even when the feelings were cold ,depressing and empty that He is the Way,Truth and Life.

When I feel the the bottom has been pulled out of this mortal life and I feel betrayed and abandoned by those mortals in responsibility I trusted, trust jesus even more and I strive to act on that trust even more the less i feel it. I am very inspired by Mother Teresa's dark walk of faith ad love behind Jesus Who bore the Cross for us all and is risen and will raise us all on the Last day!

the path is by our choices; don't like it change it ; we have one life and with God's help and love , there isn't anything that can't be overcome ; trust, faith in love; sometimes you have to change your perspective; if you always do what you always did then you always get what you always got. Mother Teresa was a child of God just like each one of us; only God knows what is in the heart of someone including any short comings; we have to do more then just follow, we give of our talents, we give, we watch our words , our deeds , our motivations; it takes the whole person to believe in God's word and plan ; the road isn't paved; we are given a map and the destination, how we get there is by our choices in life, each and every day ; we don't put anyone on pedestal with the exception of the Holy Trinity.

To be honest, looking back on my like there have been times.

sometime even when we try to follow Christ, and we stay in his teachings,

we do not always listen to that still small voice.

and it is at this time in our lives, that we like to call, "God ruffles our nest"

we don't understand what is happening at the time, all we know is that we have lost our comfort zone.

and after this time has pass we realize that it was God, leading us in a direction that we did not want to go.

but it takes us to a place in our lives, where our faith is strengthened, and puts us in a place where we can minister to others.

and it is at this time that we are able to see the miracles that God has performed in our lives,

    Hello, Debbie:

Yes, I lament the years before I found our Wonderful Savior.

Since Christ has lead my life, I often wish I was raised by parents that escorted me to church each Sabbath and gave me a Christian education. It would have saved me many failures learned in the school of hard knocks.

I've been a Christian for 33 years now, and do not want to return to where I was before, and I look most earnestly to a future in the Kingdom where sin does not lift up its proud head.

One thing that enlightened me was the Bible code that reveals God's plan to restore this world. See www.abiblecode.com

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

I do, but then I came to realize I need to put everything into God's hands instead of trying to figure out and analyze stuff myself, and to put complete faith in Him, and remember He knows what's best for me better than I know myself. Once I started doing that, yes, I agonize less.

    Peace also with you!

I am not discourage. Why should i? Is there anybody to blame but yourself. Nobody takes yourlife to a path where sometimes is full of agony and sufferings but you. Your life is like a vehicle and the driver is yourself. But faith in Him is essential to overcome all of this. God Bless You!

I sometimes do, but not really very much. My main discouragement comes from things like having to hassle with repairs, but that's just minor and things always seem to work out for me.
