MSN keeps freezing when i exit a voice call, and recently does when i send messages?

MSN keeps freezing when i exit a voice call, and recently does when i send messages, i am running windows live messenger and my operating system is windows XP. this problem is a pain in the backside. PLEASE HELP, first reply gets best answer.

did you install some new stuff (skin,plugin,script,etc) for your MSn recently? that might be a reason

check if you are running a p2p (emule, ares) those take quite the whole bandwidth so MSn cannot work well...

slow down the p2p and restart the router and try again...
