Sleep problems... I wake up too early!! any nonprescription ideas?

Hi- I have NO problem going to sleep, wether it be 8,910pm or later, I fall asleep in under a minute.

The problem is no matter what time I fall asleep I wake up at between 4 and 5 am. I don't get re-tired and want to sleep again. I have tried meditation, reading, just lying there, working, working out, nothing causes me to wnt to return to sleep. this wears me out- I feel a dull nasty fatigue from lack of sleep generally after 1pm until I go to bed. I am not overly stressed, worried, worked, thinking about stuff or other overtly obvious issues. I want to find the root cause not mask it with sleeping pills... so here I am, on yahoo answers!

    try going to bed later, or sleeping with soft music, like waves cd or something - natural sounds,

    OR

    have a glass of wine and go at 11
