If I have a cube with measurements of 10mm, then what is its volume?
It's not as easy as it seems! I'm boggled by this!
10mm = 1cm
1cm * 1cm * 1cm = 1cm^3
10mm * 10mm * 10mm = 1000mm^3
1000mm = 100cm = 1m^3
What's the volume? 1m^3 or 1cm^3?

1cm^3 is right.
and ur answer 1000mm^3 is also right.
but remember 1m^3 is not equal to 1000mm^3.
?(if you ask why) then....
to convert 1000mm^3 to ?cm^3
1000mm^3= 1000/(10*10*10) cm^3
= 1 cm^3
please note this should be done to convert when we convert the values of the square or cubic values.
when u r confused in exams. just imagine the difference of 1m^3 box which is equal to a box of washing machine made by the height of 10mm. which can never exist.

1cm³
1m = 1,000mm
1m³ = (1,000mm)³ = 1,000,000,000mm³
1cm = 10mm
1cm³ = (10mm)³ = 1,000mm³
