    This varies with each individual. Some people can function out of what looks like chaos. Others decorate their work space along some theme.

    For me, I only equip it with what I must use daily and every month go through it to remove stuff that should more properly be in storage.

    So my answer is a combination of simplicity and efficiency.

    cleanliness,efficencey,good customer service,personable,to be able to go to your boss and discuss anything,(we call it an open door policy)to have employees with good work ethic that give 110%,employees that go out of their way to help customers and fellow co-workers (team players) and this one is very important(praise your employees)don't just tell them what they are doing wrong.
