I'm writing an urban issue paper on homelessness, and I'm having trouble finding statistics on percent of

homeless in the city v. rural homelessness. Also, i need a good site expaining why homeless people are more likely to live in a city than a rural area. Thank You

I"m guessing you're in college. Look on your library's website for online Scholarly Journal Articles (your school should be registered with several journal databases). You can probably find all you need there.

    Google Shelter.

Go to the US census website - they may have some. However, census studies have found that the homeless are very hard to find and count.

I'd think the urban help centers like Salvation Army would have that info...

rural?... not as many help centers there.... but folks there tend to help each other more than in the city....ie, churches' missions, etc................
