need help to find y'?

find y' for y = (1+ (1/x^2))^sqrt(7)

    Try using the chain rule.

    y' = sqrt(7) (1 + x^-2)^ (sqrt(7) - 1) * d/dx[ 1 + x^-2]

    y' = sqrt(7) (1 + x^-2)^ (sqrt(7) - 1) * (-2) x^-3
