The total surface area in square meters is:
I have no idea how to figure this out, does anyone know? Please simplify your equation or whatever, as i do not know what to enter into my calculator if you say things like ^ 4/3 and etc thanks!

r be the radius,
s be the slant height.
The area of the base is:
The area of the remaining part is:
pi r sqrt(r^2 + h^2).
Adding those together gives:
pi r (r + sqrt(r^2 + h^2).
pi * 6 * (6 + sqrt(6^2 + 8^2))
= pi * 6 * (6 + sqrt(36 + 64))
= pi * 6 * (6 + sqrt(100))
= pi * 6 * (6 + 10)
= pi * 6 * 16
= pi * 96
You evaluate expressions such as a^b using the [x^y] key:
a [x^y] b.
You will probably have keys labelled with the Greek letter [pi], [x^2] for doing the square, and with a square root sign for doing the square root.
