There's a Target that is technically in BOTH the Bronx and Manhattan!
It's located on 40 W. 225th Street (off Broadway) and across the street from the Marble Hill housing projects, in a shopping center known as River Plaza (that also has a Marshals, Applebees, Planet Fitness, Radio Shack, and a couple of "mom & pop" clothing stores).
You can take the "1" train and get out at 225th Street. Bus wise, the BX9 bus stops right in front of the store, although you can also take the BX7 or BX20 bus and walk down a bit to get to that Target.
If driving, you can take the Major Deegan Expressway and get out at the W. 230th Street exit. Assuming you are going northbound, make a right on W. 230th to the end of the street, which is Bailey Avenue. Make a right on Bailey Avenue. At the first traffic light, make another right (W. Kingsbridge Road which turns into W. 225th Street after you go over the highway.) At that traffic light turn left into the parking lot.
As I said it is in the Bronx AND Manhattan because even though it is in the "Bronx" side of the Harlem River, that part of the land originally belonged to Manhattan and is still politically a part of Manhattan.
(BTW: "That Girl"...the phone number on Fieldston Road is for Target Car Service.)
I live in Riverdale (The Bronx) and go to this Target....one of the few bilingual ones in the country (English/Spanish)
