What u need to get an drivers license at 16 in arkansas?

Question

In arkansas u can get intermediate license from 16-18.

I'm pretty sure you have to take the written test. But I heard you have to wait 6 months after that before your allowed to get your license. Is that true?

Update:

like I took my written part but it expired a few days ago and I'm turning 16 in january and I want to be able to drive by myself!!!

I'm not sure about Arkansas, but i know in most states you have to get your permit and have had it for 6 months before you can get your driver's license. Usually you take the written test when you get your permit, so in a sence it is true.
