my computer makes a whinnig sound and won't come on,what is wrong with it?

I think it's a sound of HDD please check it properly on other Pc and if it is under warranty replace it as soon as possible

Be careful of the advice you get, weigh them before you act. With that said, Hard drives don't whine! They make a clicking or a tapping sound when they go or are going bad. And no sound when they're dead. Instead your power supply may be faulty. Also I would check the cpu fan. It can go bad, for various reasons and cause the cpu to over heat causing more damage to the fan which can manifest as the whine you hear. Also when the cpu over heats it will stop processing and not boot anything. Take it to a pro. Good luck friend.
