explain the usefulness of studying geometry of molecules?

    yeah...i'd like someone to explain that to me too? i just had a test yesterday on electron domains and molecular geometries...i guess so you can know how certain molecules will behave but i'll never personally need to know..

    enzymes are sensitive to molecular geometries, so will certain reactions

    the molecular geometry will directly effect the solid-state properties of the substance
