# Algebra HELP :]?

For questions 1-2, identify the slope and y-intercept of each equation.

1.)y=3/4x-3

a) m=3; b=-3/4

b)m= -3;b=3/4

c)m=3/4;b=-3

d)m= -3/4;b=3

2.)y=-2x

a)m=0;b= -2

b)m= -2;b=0

c)m= -1;b=2

d)m=2;b= -1

3.)m= -3/5,b= -4

a)y= -4x-3/5

b.)y=-3/5x-4

c.)y=4x-3/5

d)y=3/5x-4

thank you soooooooooooooooo much!

Use y=mx+b formula

---------------

m=slope

b=y-intercept

1) y=3/4x-3

m= 3/4

b= -3 C

2) y= -2x

m=-2

b=0 B

What about #3? Anyways there it is..

3) m=-3/5

y= -3/5x-4

b=-4 B

• y = mx +b where m=slope and b=y-intercept

1. y=3/4x-3 m= 3/4 b= -3 C

2. y= -2x m=-2 b=0 B

3. m=-3/5 b=-4 B

y= -3/5x-4

• the slope is the coefficient in front of x and the y-intercept is your b

y=mx+b

1.) c

2.) b

3.) b

• use y= mx+b formula

1) is c

2) is b

3) is b

by the way I have never seen this kind of easy math problem!
