Is it illegal to provide information to break the law on a web site?

Is it illegal to put information on a web site about how to commit a crime? For example, is it illegal to have a web site that has links to online casinos which accept US money?

Links to sources are greatly appreciated.

Sid, you are playing with fire. Anyone who assists another in perpetrating an illegal act is an accessory to the crime.

If downloading free music is illegal on line, then I'm sure using wireless connections to distribute unlawful material would be considered illegal.

However, depending on who you are, and if your computer were ever seized, would greatly dictate the likelihood of anyone discovering your indiscretions.

no law break until if it is between you and your friends with family or any friendship problems, secrets etc., Certainly, it is illegal if it affects the nation or against the nation. You are not in a big position or in valuable position, if it is so what kind o secret you can have..

Source(s): Certainly it is illegal if it is against the govt or nation.

I don't think that providing information is illegal, but maybe frowned upon and definitely an attention getter for those busybody snooping eyeballs.

Nope, not illegal at all. It just needs to be labeled as "For informational purposes only. Our site does not promote breaking of any us laws, blah blah blah"
