Swollen gland and migraine?

My girlfriend has had a swollen gland on the right side of her neck for about a week, and now she has begun having migrains. Should this be a cause for concern. She doesnt have insurance so she doesnt want to go unless it is absolutely necessary

Swollen glands (lymph nodes) usually indicate infection inside the body. Lymph nodes are the filter system of our body, they filter out bad stuff. She might need some antibiotics and yes, certainly any kind of infection could cause headaches, depending upon where the infection is.
