when should i use the word FAKE and when should i use the word A FAKE?? are there any differences between them?

Definition: Having a false or misleading appearance; fraudulent, unauthentic, not real.
Fake (adjective, 用作形容詞): My friends and I went to Shenzhen today and bought a few fake Gucci handbags. (我今天和朋友在深圳買了幾個冒牌 Gucci手袋。)
A fake (noun, 用作名詞): This handbag is a fake! (這個手袋是假貨)Source(s): I live and study in the US.
