There was a really awesome underground band called Jack Off Jill, check out their song "Strawberry Gashes" it is so over empowering and Marilyn Manson also did great vocals in Sweeet Dreams. No one can argue that thats a great song.

    Here is Mansons video below

I'll be honest, my favorite band's singer is bad. He's not much on singing, but he can play the guitar like nobody's business.

Edit: Dinosaur Jr. J Mascis has never been known for his singing prowness but he is one of the greatest of the modern rock guitarists. I still remember back in '94 when Spin printed on their cover 'J Mascis Is God'.

Edit: Hey Sarah, check this out. He can't sing worth a crap. I usually don't care for band solos but J's sit pretty tight with me. He has a sound all his own.

I'd have to say that "2+2=5" is probably Thom Yorke at his best. It really showcases his range and ability. It's tough to pick one song, but I think this would have to be it, even though it's not my favourite Radiohead song (although it is one of my favourites). Or if not this song, maybe "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" or "Pyramid Song".
