USB Headphone Adapter on (K)ubuntu?

I have a jack-to-USB adapter that makes my headphones work via USB, but I couldn't figure how I can make it work under Kubuntu...when I plug it the device is seen as "USB Audio" ( so it recognizes it ), but no audio is streamed to my headphones. Can anyone help me?

j3x11 got it to work by:
I just got my Logitech Headset working by doing the following:
1. sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
2. Edited "options snd-usb-audio index=-2" to "options snd-usb-audio index=-1"
3. Saved
4. Rebooted.

I hope this helps. I did not however mange to get the USB MIC on the headset working..
