They just traded Jonny Estrada for Guillermo Mota. Good move for the Mets bad for the Brewers.

Minaya's been a major player every offseason in signing or trading for players. There offense is pretty much set now that they resigned castillo and traded for estrada. They are trying to trade for another starting pitcher and maybe some more bullpen help. I think they'll land someone like haren, blanton, or maybe bedard or santana. Minaya has been willing to trade players like heilman, milledge, carlos gomez, and other pitchers in their minor league system.

They are interested in adding a starting pitcher such as Kyle Losch or trade for someone like Johan Santana.
