which 1+ ion has the ground state electron configuration

    i think ur question may be wrong cos [Kr]4d5 cannot be a 1+ ion as i will explain below.

    that would be the one which has 5 more electrons then Kr which is Sb i think.

    the reason being is that Kr is a noble gas and so it completely fills it shells and so rather then writing all the other bits like 1s22s2 and so u just write [Kr] to mean that. the [Kr] part is called the core electrons and the 5 others are the valence electrons

    also the reason that it is Sb not say Zr is because we use the group 1 to 8 elements not the transition metals
