How does school uniform as a whole?

Im trying to express that uniform looks more presentable and bettter. but better isnt really a good enough word. i need description words of how uniform makes highschool students look.

they look nice presentable scholarly good etc.

They look more "uniform." There no distiction as to what group who belongs to. It is less distracting to other peers. "Collective" would work......but you know, uniforms dont really work to that effect becaus every kid will find a way to personalize it......I went to a private school with uniforms......

-put-together

-well-groomed
