Make a list of common, well known Bible Characters. Put the name of one on each ones back. ( Don't let the person know what name they have on their back) Have them go around and ask questions to the others in the youth group ( one yes or no question per person) till they can figure out what Bible Character they have on their back.

If you have a lot of time, you could also break them into 6 groups and play Jesus red light/green light. You say green light, and the persons can move... you say red light and they have to stop. Whoever is closest (to whatever end point you have decided on) when you say red light, gets the chance to answer a question. (Biblical of course) If they get it right, they can take two steps forward, if they get it wrong, they have to take two steps back. Do this till you have 6 winners from the various groups and then take those 6 winners and have a competition to see who gets the Big win.

In our group we had every one get in the aisle and gave a number by sounding out. Then went through a series of questions and separated to four corners of the room. All 1's to one, then 2's and so one. Then went to other diversities of questions.

If you like vanilla ice cream go to corner one, Chocolate 2, strawberry 3 yada yada

if you have a scar, go to 1 if you have a filling go to 2 if you every broke a bone 3 yada yada

if you every got stopped by a cop or was every in a car that has been 1,

The whole point was to show how people all have different tastes and have had different things happen to them in there lives but not one person is so different that God can not accept them and there fore we should also be able to accept them. As you go through the game people that may have never known someone else was even there and been there a while get tp meet and talk for a minute as you go through the other questions. It is geared for that. If your church is not into "disorder" however, you may want to strike that out because everyone will be every where in that church moving around and going to different corners for different questions and so on.

It goes on the "Whosoever" Scriptures and also brings people to realize that they really have a lot in common after all.

    Have some others. Just ask.

    God Bless

With 60 kids you pretty much have to divide them into teams, with the adults doing the dividing. Here are a few suggestions for teamwork games.

A scavenger hunt, either throughout the church or the community. If you do it in the church, instead of having them find specific things (hymnals, bible, etc) have them find one object that begins with each letter in the alphabet. (You'll be amazed at some of the things they will find for the letter X)

    A group trivia game

    Water balloon games

Most importantly, ask them what they would like to do. They may come up with some wonderful things to do.

"Whose in my mouth?" would be good.
