Cruise works once then not at all on 03 Durango what is problem?

first thing to check is the vacuum source from the intake,it uses vacuum to run the cruise,a lot of times it gets disconnected.

could be the relay switch for it that's the way they do when they go bad,they get heated up and wont kick back in,id also check for voltage at the relay ,this can be done with the key on ,and you can also have the computer scanned the relay is monitored and will give a trouble code,also check the fuse for it,that's the first thing to always check,good luck.
