Israel is soaked with history and some really cool things. Here is a site that you might find helpful, they have a section on travel in Israel and they posted details and interesting facts and reviews about whole bunch of places.

They also have an article written by a guy that just got back from his first trip to Israel, you might find that helpful. he talks about places he went and thigns he did!

It's called 'Ken's Trip to Israel' and here's the link

one of the more beautiful places I remember

is Rosh Hanikra in the north. Even further north than Haifa!

Ein Gedi is also beautiful, as is Masada (at sunrise/sunset is the best!). Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Eilat have a beauty all their own.

You should really try to see the whole country, which sounds like a lot but its a small country so depending on how long you are staying you can see a lot!

Jerusalem should be on the list. There are so many places in Israel that you will enjoy, and have fun, but Jerusalem is a whole different experience. I hate to use the word 'spiritual' but it's the only word that fits!

Go to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial. And also the kotel, the Wailing Wall.

if you are 10- 18 years of age i would recommend Eilat. if you are older than that you should go to the dead sea, or Jerusalem.
