Should Jo Jo White be in the hall of fame?

He helped the celtics to 2 nba championships in the 70s.

(1973-74 and 1975-76)

1975-76 nba finals mvp

7 time all-star

1969-70 all nba rookie team

1974-75 and 1976-77 all nba 2nd team

I think those are good enough numbers to make it to the hall what about you?

Jo Jo White averaged 17 pts and 5 assists a game for 12 yrs while shooting 45% from the field and 83% from the line.. he also played every game for 5 consecutive seasons and was considered one of the league's best defenders and most unselfish players...that's why he was a champion as well...Yes, he belongs on the Hall...damn sure before any selfish, poor shootin' loser like Iverson gets in...and he will...even tho he will never win a championship like JoJo did

If you go by those numbers, he should come up short. Making the all-nba 2nd time twice, isn't much to make the HOF. He needed to be all-nba 1st team instead. Having Cowens, Silas, and Havlicek had something to do with winning those 2 championships. White was a very good player, but far from a HOF. Sorry.

If you talk about numbers, then no, on numbers alone he won't. But in terms of overall contribution, and the fact that he's a celtic... yeah.

He played for Kansas, super plus.

He played for Boston in the NBA, huge, huge minus.
