How much do we know about the entrance requirements for Plato's Academy?
What did it take for a budding philosopher to enter the Academy?

"In 386 B.C. Plato purchased a recreation grove dedicated to the god Academus. This became the location of his school."
"The Academy accepted only advanced students who possessed a knowledge of geometry."
This is what it TOOK.
It changed as time went on.
And I don't really know how much it changed, I just remember that he accepted female students which was never admired back then.

Looking at Plato's student Aristotle and who he would taught later on (Alexander the Great). I think the academy did a good job of what students will be admitted.
