Alright, I was looking at thesubway map and Im lost.?
How do I get from Queensboro Plaza Subway station to the empire state building taking the subway? And what's the nearest stop to the ESB?

Take the 7 train to fifth ave. and walk 7.5 blocks south to the ESB.
Or take the 7 train to Grand Central and then take the 6 to 33rd street and walk north one block and west 2 blocks.
Or take the N train to Herald Square and walk one long block East.

The Empire State building is on 34th Street at 5th Avenue.
Anything that stops along 34th Street is within walking distance. Check out NYCMTA website. There is a feature that will tell you how to get from one point to another.
The 7 train will take you all the way to 42nd street (Use the station called 5th Avenue) Don't exit at Grand Central because you will be a few blocks east. If you like you can walk from there or transfer at that station for any other train that will stop at 34th Street and walk one block.
The 7 train is a longer ride but you won't have to transfer. You can also pick up the F train which will take you directly to 34th Street.

The N or W trains will take you very close to the Empire State Building. The station you should get off at is 34th st. Look for exit signs that list "East" exits (for example it will say: "34th st and Broadway, South East corner". It really doesn't matter what else it says, just as long as it's an eastern side exit). When you get out you'll be able to see it there because you will be 1 block away.
Just head for it. If you take the 7, you'll end up walking further than you need to from 42nd st.

7 to 59th street change to the 6 to 34th street. Walk west 2 blocks.
