TB positive(+) should never get another skin test?

If someone tested positive on a TB skin test, should they make sure to never get another one? Is that true health-wise? because another injection would risk causing an activation of tuberculosis? Also, what about people who have gotten TB vaccinations. I think it's not the standard method in the United States but some countries issue vaccinations. I hear those don't last you a lifetime, but wear out in around 8 years.
