Why don't those damn atheists just accept creationism? Evolution is a lie! Figured it out yet?

Here's how the universe came to be and if you deny this, may God help you! According to classical Greek theology, Chaos existed in the beginning, and then gave birth to Gaia (the Earth), Tartarus (the Underworld), Eros (desire), Nyx (the darkness of the night) and Erebus (the darkness of the Underworld). That's basically how life, the universe and everything began.

Now I know you might be dissuaded by some of parts of Greek mythology. The unbelievable parts that have all those mythical creatures like the hydra and the gorgon (medusa). But modern scholars say these creatures were actually DINOSAURS! See the word dinosaur was coined in the 1800s so the Greeks didn't have the exact word to describe all the giant reptiles so they used words like hydra and gorgon instead.

Does it all make sense now? Good.

So why don't you atheists accept creationism!?

This is is supposed to be a spoof of Biblical creation. A few people figured that out.

Sorry, but you are incorrect. Didn't you know that the Yanomamo creationism is right, and that men came from drops of moon blood and men planted wabu fruit to get women? Give up your delusions! :-)

Or maybe I'll give up mine. Evolution best fits the evidence.

So your evidence for believing in ancient Greek mythology is that they supposedly correctly describe dinosaurs. There are three problems with that: 1. These descriptions are nothing like real dinosaurs. They tend to be pretty insane creatures that are nothing like any dinosaurs known about. I can read a bit of ancient greek, and my experience is backed up in the source at the bottom. 2. They couldn't possibly have seen dinosaurs-humans, especially ancient greek civilization, was long after the time of dinosaurs. 3. Even if they did accurately describe dinosaurs, you still haven't explained why this proves anything.

What about the carbon dating done to fossils and various other organism's remains that places them millions of millions of years back? Failed to explain that.

What about the existance of tribes of people WAY before even 2000 BC?

    Failed to explain that.

What about the mere fact that apes and ourselves share 99.9 percent of our DNA structure? Not saying we came from apes, but we both share a common ancestor.

    Failed to explain that.

And now THIS is an explanation all can enjoy.

The bible says God created man in his image.

Does it say anything about man staying in that image?

Does it say that God DIDN'T create other things before man, and created man through evolution of these things?

A weight for creationism; It says god created the world in 6 days, and the 7th was rest.

Who's to say those days were 24 hours?

    Maybe they were 48?

    Or 96?

Or maybe thousands of millions of years?

And the final weight here, for the evolutionary proof, is that viruses adapt and evolve SEASONALLY in order to get around antiviral and antibacterial precautions. That's why the common cold can't be cured.

Intelligent Design is the best explanation we have.

Embrace it, love it, make it your own.

May Zues have mercy on all those atheists' souls!

You've actually given more evidence for the Greek God's existance than the Abrahamic God's existance!

I know PLENTY of Atheists who are more creative and talented then most Religious folk.

How do you know that the ones that made up the mythology about the Greek Pantheon weren't atheists themselves? ... but to put it plain and simple about creationism.. we all came from the "Ocean"... hehe jk.. I meant to say "aliens".. no wait.. umm, Mars, wait.. I think most of came from planet Xena.. that's where I'm from.. jk (again)

Everyone is entitled to their belief, that is why God is Creation... If you choose not to accept THIS.. then God HAS helped you be the individual you ARE today.. it's just a matter of acknowledging who or what has helped you out..

God has shown me to be in His likeness by me being able to create as well..

if you don't believe me.. here you go...

I am a choreographer and dancer by trade.. Creation is my specialty!

Sorry. I tend to follow the Celtic pantheon.

Still, the Egyptian is older. You might want to check out their story as well.

Is there a civilisation that doesn't have a true tale of creation?

Oh THANK YOU anonymous man over the Internet! You have successfully converted me with ONE paragraph, as opposed to the many VOLUMES I've read completely and utterly contradicting every statement you've just made. What the HELL stopped me from seeing this before?!

Source(s): Still an Atheist. Still believing in evolution. Get your head out of the clouds.
